Dr. Michael J. Holte received his MD at UND - Grand Forks. He completed his internship and residency at Mayo - Rochester. Dr. Holte was an 0rthopedic Surgeon in Aberdeen, SD and has been providing outreach orthopedic care at Swift County Benson Hospital. He joined SCMC in June 2005. He practices general orthopedics and specializes in total joint replacements.

Dr. Holte lives in Benson with his wife Julie and enjoys hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. They have two children.
