Dr. Alex Lebrija received his BA in Kinesiology at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, and his DPM at Barry University in Miami, Florida. He served a three year surgical residence at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania and is trained in fore-foot, rear-foot, and ankle surgery. He specializes in wound care, limb salvage, and foot and ankle trauma.
Dr. Lebrija joined the Stevens Community Medical Center team in June of 2000. He is Board certified in foot, rear foot and ankle surgery and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a member of SCMC's complete sports medicine team.
Dr. Lebrija is originally from a small farming town in Tennessee. He and his wife Cali live in Morris with their 6 children: Caitlyn, Aidan, Ellie, Cambree, Olivia and Ethan. Some of Dr. Lebrija's interests are hunting and fishing. He is also the defensive coordinator for the Morris Area High School football team.
