Nicole received her Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from North Dakota State University in 2000. She started her career working in an early intervention program for Autism. Her interest in children grew while working with children and teens at a psychiatric hospital in Fargo, ND. After getting married and moving to St. Cloud, it was an honor and a challenge to work with children at a residential treatment center, The Children’s Home. Coordinating a mentoring program in Williston North Dakota gave her a new perspective on how all of us can influence the children in our communities to live up to their potential mentally and socially. She has two young children that have given her a grateful insight into the joys and hardships of parenting. She enjoys being a children’s counselor for therapeutic support services at SCMC and respects all the people that work here in helping our community thrive.
