Sharon is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. She received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from St. Cloud State University in 1990. She worked as a Licensed Social Worker for 17 years prior to receiving her Master of Social Work Degree in Clinical Social Work from the College of St. Catherine/University of St. Thomas in 2008. She provides mental health counseling and nephrology social work. She works with clients of all ages doing assessments and therapy for a variety of general mental health issues including anxiety, depression, panic, adjustment disorders and couples counseling. She has had extensive experience working with developmentally disabled and geriatric populations. Sharon also provides social work services for the hospital, clinic and kidney dialysis programs at SCMC.
