Dr. Thanel is a 1982 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his residency training in general psychiatry at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, in 1986. Dr. Thanel is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry. He has worked in a variety of in-patient and out-patient settings with child, adolescent and adult patients. Dr. Thanel was born and raised in Nebraska. He has practiced medicine in Minnesota since 1994.
