COVID Vaccine Update 2/11/21

Website News Graphic (4)

Covid-19 Vaccine UPDATE:

Since late December, SCMC has vaccinated healthcare staff, fire depts, law enforcement, and other frontline workers in the Stevens County area and has begun vaccinating the 75+ patients in our community. It is well known the vaccine availability is very limited, however, we are making progress and have started vaccinating from our waiting list based on random selection. By Feb. 12th, we will have vaccinated 360 people from that list.

As stated in our last update, the SCMC provider group decided that it was important to concentrate our limited allotment on those individuals at the highest risk. The vaccinations will be by appointment only and we are reaching out to schedule people to receive the vaccine. There is no walk-in availability for the vaccine. As we get more vaccine doses allotted to us, we will continue to work through our waiting list as quickly as we can. We are hopeful we will see more allotment in the future and on a consistent basis. We appreciate your continued patience as we work at getting the COVID vaccine to more in our community.  If you are age 65+ and not on our waiting list yet, you can call 320-589-7600 to be placed on the list.

SCMC Family Medicine Physician & Chief of Staff
