Fall into Health

You are invited to join us in promoting and improving health for all! The 13th annual Fall into Health is a community health initiative sponsored by Stevens Community Medical Center (SCMC) that focuses on connecting our health-related community resources to the general public. There will be lots of giveaways, FREE Labs, a FREE community meal, FREE health-related info booths, and definitely something for all ages! Interpreters will be on-site if needed. Flu shots will also be available.  NEW this year....bring a nonperishable food item for the local Food Shelf and have a chance to win a FREE turkey! 10 winners will be drawn!

FREE Labs Draws
NEW this year, FULL LIPID PANEL! Lab draws will now include total cholesterol, HDL, LDL & triglycerides + Hemoglobin (Hgb), and Vitamin D. No appointments needed. Note: Your results will be mailed back to you in a week or less. It is up to you to share these results with your primary care provider.

FREE Community Meal
Healthy version of Minnesota’s favorite; Sweet Potato Tatertot Hotdish with homemade cream of mushroom soup. A meal will also include an apple side salad with candied walnuts and cranberries, milk, and a yummy homemade monster cookie (made by The Homestead in Morris!) All nutritional information will be available for the salad and hotdish along with take-away recipe cards!

FREE Health-Related Info Booths
Stop by the variety of SCMC and community health booths. Any local health partners can register on our site with the Register a Booth button on the top of this page. If you have any questions about participating in this event, please call (320) 208-7803 or (320) 589-7631. The only criteria to register a booth is your initiative/business should provide a health service to our local community. No sales are allowed, this is a free event. There will be blood pressure checks, booths of all varieties of health topics (ie. mental health, public health, senior health, preganancy, addiction services, insurance, skin health, AND MORE! There will also be a chance to visit with SCMC services and providers. Make sure to stop by and meet our newest General Surgeon, Dr. Bloomsburg!

Flu Shot Clinic
Pre-registering for a flu shot is not required, but it is recommended. Book online with the Sign-up for a Flu Shot button on the top of this page or call (320) 589-7600 to schedule. COVID-19 vaccine will be available too. Appointments are available from 5-7 pm. Walk-ins are welcome. Vaccine recommendations may vary by age and individual health needs. Talk with your healthcare provider if you have questions.
