Karen is a full time Mental Health Practitioner providing Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) to children and families. CTSS is a rehabilitative skills service available to children and families in-office, in-home, in the school setting or community setting. CTSS helps children and families develop skills in areas such as; anger, aggression, following directions, relating to peers, anxiety, depression, family conflicts and much more. Karen attended Pikes Peak Community College Human Services Technician program before transferring to UMM to work towards her BA degree in Sociology. Karen has years of experience as a children’s and adult services Social Worker and as Program Coordinator in a TBI group home before starting her current position providing CTSS services. Karen enjoys time with her family; her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoys fishing, gardening, reading, cooking and traveling.
