Margie was born and raised in Morris and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University, Brookings. She began working as a registered nurse in 1985. In 2005, Margie completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the Minnesota State University Moorhead and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
In her spare time, Margie enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She has a passion for making patients feel at ease as they work together to manage health problems. She also has a special interest in disease prevention and health promotion.

Margie has worked in urgent care, family practice, rural health, and public health. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is excited to be back in the community she calls home. She practices primarily in the Urgent and Respiratory Care Clinic.
