Director of Information Technology

Stevens Community Medical Center, a critical access hospital and clinic, is seeking an experienced Director of IT to oversee the organization’s technology infrastructure, digital platforms, cybersecurity, data management, and innovation initiatives to ensure secure, efficient, patient/staff-focused solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science and/or related field and/or three+ years of relevant professional experience in IT systems administration or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead staff, including performance oversight and team development.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
  • Managerial experience, including budgeting, project coordination, leadership, as well as serving as a Committee Lead.
  • Strong knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations and Security Risk Assessment practices.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

  • Ability to use and understand the functionality of various IT programs and protocols, including but not limited to:
    • NAS/SAN storage solutions
    • Google Workspace administration
    • VOIP system configuration and management
    • VMware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting hypervisor and operating systems
    • Windows Server 2022+ (DHCP, DNS, Print Management, AD, GPO)
    • Network and server security and design
    • Back-up Management (Veritas)
    • Network device configuration and troubleshooting (Endpoints, switches, wireless access points)

Preferred:

  • 3+ years hands-on systems administration experience
  • 3+ years VMware configuration and support experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting an electronic health record (EHR) system.

Pay Information: Starting at $48 per hour and is dependent on prior relevant experience.
