Morris, MN – Nov. 25, 2025 – Stevens Community Medical Center (SCMC) is proud to announce it has earned a 2025 Performance Leadership Award from The Chartis Center for Rural Health for excellence in Patient Perspective.
The Performance Leadership Awards recognize rural hospitals performing in the top 25% nationally in areas including Quality, Outcomes, and Patient Perspective. SCMC’s recognition reflects its dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to the Morris and Starbuck communities.

The award is based on the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a comprehensive framework assessing rural hospital performance. INDEX results are widely used by rural hospitals, health systems, and state offices of rural health to benchmark performance in areas impacting both care and operations.
