Stevens Community Medical Center, a critical access hospital and clinic, has a temporary part-time 32+ hour per week position within its Behavioral Medicine department for a Nursing Assistant to work with the RN and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners providing nursing support in the delivery of timely, quality patient health care services. This position will be scheduled Monday through Thursday.
Skills and Abilities required:
- Greet and room patients for outpatient behavioral health appointments
- Obtain and document vital signs and basic health information
- Observe and report changes in patient behavior, mood, or affect
- Assist providers and nursing staff during clinic visits
- Support medication-related workflows as directed by licensed staff (non-administration)
- Maintain a calm, supportive environment in waiting and clinical areas
- Ensure rooms are clean and prepared for patients
- Assist with scheduling support, patient flow, and clinic organization as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Pay Information: $19.53 up to $25.81 and is dependent on prior relevant experience.
