Susan has received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Marty University, Watertown, SD, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, IA. Clinical experiences include NCC Psychiatric Services PLLC and Turner Therapy in LeMars, IA, and Psychiatric Services, LLC in Brookings, SD.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends in her spare time riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, and dirt bikes. Other interests include maintaining lawns, her house, and the garden.
Susan was also recognized as the “Year of the Nurse” by Sanford Medical Center Wheaton staff and patients. She holds BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and MAT training certifications. Affiliated with the American Nurses Association.

Susan Herberg is a board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) across the lifespan. She has over 21 years nursing experience, including long-term care, critical access hospital, and inpatient mental health facility. Susan credits herself as open, willing to learn, empathetic, compassionate, caring, a good listener, and attentive to detail. Her main goal is to explore and provide individual treatment modalities to clients with mental health disorders, allowing them to function at their highest ability daily. Services to be provided are medication management, therapy, and/or referrals via in-office or telehealth services.
