Dr. Wade Swenson, board-certified Oncologist/Hematologist joined Stevens Community Medical Center in August 2022. He has been providing specialty care as a visiting specialist to our Infusion Therapy Dept for many years. He was born in Moorhead, MN, and attended practices full-spectrum medical oncology and hematology, including breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancers, and hematologic malignancies. Dr. Swenson was drawn to the ever-changing fields of oncology and hematology because of the promise of improved therapies, the relationship between physician and patients, and the trust required to make important treatment decisions. He sees patients at SCMC’s Morris clinic every Friday.
Dr. Swenson has two children, and in his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time on Minnesota lakes.
