FREE Labs, Health Resources, a Community Meal and more at this annual community event
Fall is a great time to focus on your health—and Fall into Health is back for its 13th year!
Stevens Community Medical Center invites area residents to join us Tuesday, October 27, from 5–7 p.m. at Morris Area High School for this free community event focused on connecting people with local health resources, information and services.
Fall into Health has become an annual tradition in our community, bringing together SCMC departments, local health organizations and community partners for an evening of learning, connection and a little fun, too.
FREE LAB DRAWS
One of the biggest draws each year is back: FREE lab testing!
This year’s screening includes a full lipid panel, including total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides, along with hemoglobin and Vitamin D. No appointment is needed for the lab draws. Results will be mailed to participants following the event.
NEW THIS YEAR: HELP FILL THE FOOD SHELF
We’re also adding a way for our community to give back while you enjoy the evening. Bring a nonperishable food item for a local food drive and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $250 gift card to Willie’s SuperValu in Morris! Two $250 gift cards will be given away. Bring a food item, help support our neighbors and you’ll have a chance to win!
FREE COMMUNITY MEAL
Come hungry! A free community meal will be served, featuring a healthier take on one of Minnesota’s favorite comfort hotdish—tater tot hotdish—along with salad, a beverage, Willie’s softie, and a monster cookie homemade from The Homestead. Nutrition information will also be available to help you learn more about the food you’re enjoying.
HEALTH INFORMATION & RESOURCES
Visit the many free health-related information booths throughout the evening. SCMC services and community organizations will be on hand to share information, answer questions and connect you with resources available right here in our community.
Flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines will also be available. Flu shot appointments are recommended, with walk-ins welcome.
Fall into Health is free and open to everyone. Interpreters will also be available.
Come for the free labs. Stay for the meal. Explore the booths. Get your flu shot. Bring a food donation. And most importantly, take a little time for your health.
We hope to see you October 27!
