Medical Technologist/MLT

Full-time position, shared day and weekend call schedule.  

ASCP or equivalent required.  Preferred microbiology experience

Director of Nursing

Full-time Director of Nursing will provide leadership and direction in planning, developing, evaluating, and directing patient care services.  Responsible for developing, implementing and organizing patient care structure in critical access hospital.  Responsible for networking and interacting effectively with all departments and staff levels.  Ensures that patient care practices are consistent with internal and external policies, standards and contracts.  Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.  Five (5) years relevant clinical, management and/or leadership experience required.

             

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Advanced knowledge of nursing theories, practices.
  • Experience in the principles of personnel administration regarding the selection and placement of employees.
  • Strong clinical skills, mentoring abilities, and a successful track record of management in a progressive environment.
  • Strategic and operational planning skills with the ability to follow through and carry out the hospital’s mission.
  • Ability to supervise, direct, motivate and evaluate nursing staff while providing safe, high quality care to patients. 
  • Capable of managing daily challenges in a rural health care setting.
  • Managerial problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated effective presentation skills, written communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to delegate appropriately and effectively.

Nursing Assistant - Courage Cottage Overnights

Part-time mix of evening and overnight shifts 5-8 shifts per pay period.  Rotating weekends and holidays—must be 18 years of age.  CNA certification preferred.

RN - Med/Surg

Full-time positions available.  We are looking for individuals to provide professional nursing care in an acute hospital setting.  Registered nurses at SCMC have the ability to care for patients in various settings, including medical, surgical, obstetrics and the emergency room.  Current RN license required.  Full-time benefits include health, dental, life and disability insurance and vacation/sick leave program. 

Full time--three 12 hour shifts per week, every third weekend.

SCMC is looking for a Full-Time LPN to provide direct patient care on the acute medical/surgical floor, will also include training to the nursery area. Must be willing to work as part of a team with RN supervision, while delivering quality patient care in a high activity environment. Must have current LPN license, with no stipulations. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Health Screening Technician

In order to keep our patients and staff safe, we have 1-2 part-time positions available as a health screening technician at our main clinic entrance.  Both positions include two 10-hour day shifts during the week along with every other weekend (Sat-Sun from 9am-1pm).  The right candidate will be personable and friendly.  Medical experience/background helpful in this position.  The right candidate also will have the ability to follow established guidelines while providing great customer service

Personal Chef

Part-time evening cook position available.  Hours are from 11:00am-7:30pm, 3 shifts per week with the potential for more. Includes working every other weekend and rotating holidays. Food service experience is helpful. Strong customer service skill preferred. Some lifting required.

Ultrasound Sonographer

Part-time 40 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) week day only position open for Ultrasound Sonographer.  Must be able to perform vascular, OB/GYN, abdomen, and small parts ultrasounds.  ARDMS certified or eligible.

Nursing Assistant-Courage Cottage

Two part time positions, One includes 3 night shifts every 2 weeks. The other includes 2 evening shifts every 2 weeks.  Both shifts include every other weekend and rotating holidays.  Must be 18 years of age.  CNA certification preferred.

 

Staff Accountant

Part-time 20-24 hours/week.  Financial recordkeeping and reporting duties as well as accounts payable functions.  Accounting or Finance degree preferred, and proficiency with Excel required.  Healthcare experience preferred.  Attention to detail, computer skills and accuracy required.  Seeking a self-starter, motivated, and positive individual.  Position also serves as backup for Payroll Coordinator functions.

Surgical Technologist

PT to FT position, experience and certification preferred, but willing to train the right candidate if previous medical experience in any field.  

Rotating weeknight and weekend call.

LPN

With 3 new providers joining our clinic (Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Orthopedics), we are looking to hire LPNs to become a part of our clinic team over the next few months. May include some weekends and fill-in with other practices as needed. LPN will work with providers, patients, and staff to deliver timely, quality patient health care services.

• Knowledge of clinical technical skills
